Abi Barden

I'm Abi Barden, and I live in my own private Tower in the Sky with the cat. It's a little weird and a whole lot wonderful, even being a cat slave. I love to make up stories. My view is, what's better than stepping outside of the real world, just a little bit, you know? If, like me, you love the manners, dress and inventiveness of the Victorians, then you might like my Aether Chronicles. Starting with Shades, this is the story of Amethyst Forester who inherits money, a mansion and a mystery. This series didn't go the way I planned it - the characters decided to blaze a different trail and I think that they did a wonderful job, led me and hopefully you down a most enjoyable path.
